Professor Li Zhijie’s Experience in Treating Tinnitus

耳鸣以耳内出现鸣响而外界无相应声源为主要特征，目前对于耳鸣的发病机制尚不明确，且治疗效果不佳。历代医家对于本病的认识不一，多从清肝泻火、疏风清热、益气升清等方法论治。李智杰经过多年临床实践，总结主张耳鸣的治疗应从风、从虚、从窍、从痰等方面入手兼顾调理，治法上提倡“补肾填精、化痰开窍、搜风通窍”，临床效果显著。
Tinnitus is mainly characterized by ringing in the ear but no corresponding sound source in the outside world. At present, the pathogenesis of tinnitus is not clear, and the therapeutic effect is not good. Doctors of all ages have different understanding of this disease, and they mostly treat it by means of clearing liver and purging fire, soothing wind and clearing heat, replenishing qi and clearing away heat. After years of clinical practice, Li Zhijie summarized and advocated that the treatment of tinnitus should be treated from the aspects of wind, deficiency, orifices and phlegm, and advocated “tonifying kidney and essence, resolving phlegm and opening orifices, searching wind and dredging orifices”. The clinical effect is remarkable.
