In the context of globalization, interac-tions among civilizations and individuals imperatively require a more effective way to disseminate information than ever before. This paper discusses the current developments in digital media, the types of digital media used in intercultural communication, the impact of digital media on intercul-tural communication, and the important role of digital media in promoting intercultural communi-cation. It then highlights the significant advantages of digital media in removing cultural barriers and promoting cultural understanding and respect.
