Two Chinese Translations of The Golden Note—Domestication and Foreignization Analysis Based on Language Level

本文以金色笔记(The Golden Notebook)的两个中译本为研究对象，通过对译本进行对比分析，探讨译者在归化异化的周旋中所采用的主要翻译策略。对比发现，两译本所偏好的翻译策略各有不同，也导致了译作风格迥异。整体来说，异化的翻译策略更适合这部作品的翻译。
Based on the two Chinese versions of The Golden Notebook, this paper intends to discuss the main translation strategies (domestication and foreignization) adopted by translators through comparative analysis. It is found that the translation strategies preferred by the two translators are different, which leads to different translation styles. In general, the foreignizing translation strategy is more suitable for the translation of this work.
