Abstract:

Malnutrition is a common and serious complication of cirrhosis and is associated with poor prog-nosis. Therefore, timely screening, assessment and treatment are needed to improve the prognosis. This article reviews the progress in pathogenesis, risk screening tools, assessment and treatment of cirrhotic malnutrition in order to improve the understanding of clinical staff and provide reference for the treatment of cirrhotic malnutrition.
