概念隐喻视角下的中英水隐喻比较研究

Abstract:
基于相似的体验和认知模式，十类水隐喻共存于中英两种语言系统中。同时，英汉语中也存在不少各自独享的水隐喻投射。中英水隐喻呈现出“同异并存”、“大同小异”的分布特点。导致中英水隐喻文化差异性的因素包括地理环境、宗教信仰、哲学思想和思维习惯等。
Based on similar experiences and cognitive patterns, ten types of water metaphors coexist in Chinese and English language systems. Meanwhile, there are also many unique water metaphors in each language. Chinese and English water metaphors are characterized by “coexistence of similarities and differences” and “similarities outweigh differences”. Factors that lead to cultural differences in the Chinese-British metaphor of “water” include geographical environment, religious beliefs, philosophical thoughts and habits of thought.
