Big data technology has not only impacted the way we live but also the way we learn. The development of big data technology has led to great changes in our music teaching model. The use of big data technology has been able to enrich teaching resources and broaden teaching tools, which has greatly improved the efficiency and quality of music education. The application of big data has become a new means of education, and the advantages of big data should be fully utilized to conduct music education in vocational secondary schools to promote the development of students’ personalities and cultivate well-rounded and high-quality talents. The existing problems in music education are analyzed and then the specific methods of innovative research in music education under the environment of big data are expounded. The thinking of big data makes music educa-tion new and vibrant and promotes the innovative development of music education.
