中英文化差异在颜色词中的体现及译法——以红色为例
Cultural Differences between Chinese and English in Color Words and Their Translation—Taking Red as an Example

在英语语言学习过程中，学习者往往会遇到含有颜色词的谚语词，由于中英文化差异，这些颜色词在不同的谚语中被赋予不同的意义，而了解颜色词在中英文化背景下拥有的不同意义对于理解中英文化及提高中英语言综合运用能力会有莫大的帮助。本文以红色为例，研究红色在中英谚语中所体现的文化差异，并根据不同的情况，提供相应译法的建议。
In the process of English language learning, learners often encounter proverb words containing color words. Due to cultural differences between Chinese and English, these color words are given different meanings in different proverbs, and understanding color words in the context of Chinese and English culture having different meanings will be of great help in understanding Chinese and English culture and improving the comprehensive ability of using Chinese and English languages. Taking red as an example, this paper studies the cultural differences embodied in Chinese and English proverbs, and provides corresponding translation suggestions according to different situations.
