Nowadays, in the era
of 4th Industrial Revolution, businesses have to face many
challenges. The purpose of this study is to identify the readiness level of Greek
businesses to face the challenges of Industry 4.0. Aquestionnaire survey was conducted to
Greek business operating in various industries. The paper contributes to
identify whether businesses take into consideration various aspects of Industry
4.0, if they are willing to adopt new digital technologies and the kind of
difficulties that they face. This study covers the time period from before the
economic crisis, and it is proposed that a
new survey should be conductedconsidering the
addressedtopics regarding the current economic situation.
