Analysis of The Circle of Chalk of Klabund from the Perspective of New Historicism

克拉朋特的《灰阑记》取材于元代李行道的戏剧《包待制智勘灰阑记》，两个剧本虽然故事情节基本一致，然而在人物性格、观念的塑造等方面有很大的差异。本文从新历史主义的角度，旨在重构克拉朋特创作《灰阑记》的历史。从历史的角度，剖析文本，分析克拉朋特的经历、立场以及对他创作《灰阑记》有影响的各方面因素，探寻克拉朋特创作此剧的意图。
Klabund’s The Circle of Chalk is based on Li Xingdao’s Play The Chalk Circle in the Yuan Dynasty. Although the storyline of the two scripts is basically the same, there are great differences in the shaping of characters and concepts. This article aims to reconstruct the history of Klabund’s creation of The Circle of Chalk from the perspective of new historicism. By analyzing the text, Klabund’s experience, position, and various factors that influenced his creation of The Circle of Chalk, Klabund’s intention to create this play is explored.
