生态翻译学视角下政府工作报告的英译研究——以2022年政府工作报告为例
A Study on the English Translation of Government Work Report from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology—Taking 2022 Government Work Report as an Example

政府工作报告是由中国政府主动发起对我国当前的政治经济发展现状与规划进行回顾与总结的官方政治文本。改革开放以来，我国政府大力促进国家形象的树立，越来越多的西方国家也期待了解新时代背景下的中国。因此，政府工作报告的翻译显得尤为重要。生态翻译学是一门全新的翻译研究理论，由中国学者胡庚申教授在2001年提出。本文运用生态翻译学“适应与选择”原则，从三维转换理论，即语言维、文化维、交际维角度，考察2022年中国政府工作报告。研究发现，语言维方面，译者改变了汉语的语言形式以适应英语的语言风格；文化维方面，译者关注中英文化差异，采用不同的翻译方法将原文具有文化意义的表达准确传递给英语读者；交际维方面，译者关注语言的交际功能，促进中西方顺利达到交际的目的。本文认为，生态翻译学能够为政治文本的翻译与研究提供新的视角，并给出有益的经验指导。
The Government Work Report is an official political text initiated by the Chinese government to review and summarize the current status and planning of China’s political and economic devel-opment. Since the reform and opening up, the Chinese government has made great efforts to promote the establishment of national image. More and more western countries are also looking forward to understanding China in the new era. Therefore, the translation of the government work report is particularly important. Eco-translatology is a brand new translation research theory, which was put forward by Chinese scholar Hu Gengshen in 2001. This paper applies the principle of “adaptation and selection” in Eco-translatologyto investigate the 2022 Chinese Government Work Report from the perspective of three-dimensional transformation theory, namely linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension. In terms of language, translators change the language form of Chinese to adapt to the language style of English. In terms of culture, translators pay attention to the differences between Chinese and English culture and adopt different translation methods to accurately convey the cultural significance of the original text to English readers. In terms of communication, translators pay attention to the communicative function of language to promote the smooth realization of the purpose of communication between China and the West. This paper holds that Eco-translatology can provide a new perspective for the translation and study of political texts and provide useful empirical guidance.
