中国特色话语对外翻译标准术语库的应用缺陷
The Application Defects of the Standard Terminology Database for Foreign Translation of Discourses with Chinese Characteristics

随着中国特色术语的外宣不断得到重视，很多专家学者也在积极探索语料库对翻译的促进作用，我国建设了众多术语库，例如“中国特色话语对外翻译标准术语库”，旨在为普通译者设置统一的翻译标准，解决特色术语翻译杂乱无章的问题。本文利用“名从源主”和译文统一原则从典型语例入手，探究“中国特色话语对外翻译标准术语库”对术语翻译的应用价值，通过对比发现该术语库存在所给译文与权威译文不一致，译文信息不完整的问题，本文提出四种改善措施：1) 增添权威部门的术语英语翻译；2) 增添国家重要机构的英译版本；3) 设置咨询机构；4) 设置留言板块，收集实践译者对新增术语的翻译建议，期望实现术语库对术语翻译更大的推动作用。
As the publicity of terminology with Chinese characteristics continues to gain attention, many experts and scholars are also actively exploring the role of the corpus in promoting translation. China has built many terminology databases, such as the “standard terminology database for foreign translation of discourses with Chinese characteristics”. Ordinary translators set a unified translation standard to solve the problem of chaotic translation of characteristic terminology. This article uses the principle of “names from the source and the main source” and the unification of translations to start with typical language examples to explore the application value of the “standard term base for foreign translation of Chinese characteristics of discourse” in terminology translation. Through comparison, it is found that the translation of the term database is inconsistent with the authoritative translation, and the translation information is incomplete. This article proposes four improvement measures: 1) adding English translation of terms by authoritative departments; 2) adding English translation of important national institutions version; 3) setting up a consulting agency; 4) setting up a message board to collect practical translators’ translation suggestions for newly added terms, hoping to achieve a greater promotion of term translation by the term database.
