文化图式视域下《资治通鉴》典故英译研究

Abstract:
《资治通鉴》是了解中国古代历史文化的重要资料，其中有大量典故，蕴含丰富文化图式，西方读者阅读时可能无法完全理解。本文旨在统计分类书中典故，引入文化图式理论具体分析其翻译策略。研究发现，《资治通鉴》中典故共有语典与事典两大类，事典又有儒学典故、历史典故和文学典故三类，运用文化图式理论的一一对应法、交叉对应法和零对应法可以翻译，引入了新的视角，丰富了典故的翻译研究。
As an important material for understanding ancient Chinese history and culture, ZiZhi TongJian contains many allusions with rich cultural schemas, which may cannot be fully understood by Western readers. This paper aims to collect allusions in this ancient book and analyze their translation strategies guided by cultural schema theory. It is found that allusions in ZiZhi TongJian can be divided into two categories: Shi Dian and Yu Dian, and there are Confucian, historical and literary allusions in the latter part. Those allusions can be translated through A-A, A-B and A-Zero correspondence. This paper shows a new angle of view in the research and enriches the study of allusion translation.
