Building a Dual Circulation Development Pattern in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Based on SWOT-PEST Analysis

Abstract:

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is located in the combined area of our internal and external circulation, and the process of building the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is also the process of the positive interaction between the internal and external circulation of the Chinese economy. Facing the current development strategy of dual circulation, in this paper, the SWOT PEST analysis method is used to analyze the current situation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in its development process from the perspectives of advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, threats, politics, economy, society, science and technology, and combination with relevant data of the all-round development of the area, and try to put forward corresponding suggestions. Research shows the Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has a unique geographical location and development condition, and has grown into a world-class bay area. However, there is still a need for further coordination in terms of system, culture, and resources, so as to achieve Extensive consultation, Joint contribution, Shared benefits.
