新文科背景下商务英语教师核心素养内涵分析

Abstract:

在新文科背景下,商务英语专业面临全新挑战和发展机遇,商务英语教师亟需构建与“新文科”理念相适应的核心素养。本文致力于探讨新文科背景下商务英语教师核心素养的内涵,首先基于中国知网数据库回顾了商务英语教师研究进展,并通过访谈调查分析了当前商务英语教师队伍现状,发现以往研究对商务英语教师核心素养关注不足,师资队伍存在发展不平衡、重理论轻实践等问题。接着,文章讨论了新文科背景下商务英语专业的发展趋势,指出为适应“一专多能”的国际化复合型人才培养目标,商务英语教师需要更新知识结构、构建跨学科知识框架。最后,文章提出新文科背景下商务英语教师核心素养是商务英语教师职业能力和综合素质的聚集点,主要包括道德素养、认知素养、商务素养、语言素养、信息素养五个方面。研究结果表明,商务英语教师核心素养的审视和反思将为商务英语专业发展提供新契机和新思路。
Under the background of new liberal arts, business English major is facing new challenges and development opportunities, therefore business English teachers need to build core literacy that is compatible with the concept of new liberal arts. This article is devoted to exploring the connotation of business English teachers’ core literacy in the context of new liberal arts. Firstly, it reviews the research progress of business English teachers based on the database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and analyzes the current status of business English teachers with the method of personal interview. It is found that previous studies have not paid enough attention to the core literacy of business English teachers, and there are problems such as unbalanced development of the teaching stuff, and attaching more importance to theory than practice. Then it discusses the development trend of business English major under the background of new liberal arts, and points out that in order to adapt to the goal of cultivating international interdisciplinary talents with mul-tiple abilities, teachers need to update their knowledge structure and construct interdisciplinary knowledge framework. Finally, it proposes that the core literacy of business English teachers in the context of new liberal arts is the gathering point of professional competence and comprehensive quality, which mainly includes five aspects: moral literacy, cognitive literacy, business literacy, language literacy and information literacy. The research results show that the review and reflection of the core literacy of business English teachers will provide new opportunities and new ideas for the development of business English major.
