This article seeks to explain the concept of organizational
excellence when did it begin, and the reason why organizations strive to apply
organizational excellence, and seek continuous improvement. It also identifies
the most famous global models for the quality of organizational excellence. The
study touched on the Saudi national model for quality and organizational
excellence and how to face challenges to apply standards of quality and
organizational excellence. It also explains the objectives of the evaluation
process to reach organizational excellence and the effectiveness of
implementing the organizational excellence system, and the success and failure
factors for implementing organizational excellence systems in addition to
identifying challenges and opportunities.
