Abstract:

Vitamin D is an essential fat-soluble vitamin, which plays a key role in regulating the dynamic bal-ance of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus and as a medium of anti-proliferation and immuno-modulation. In recent years, with the continuous adjustment of China’s fertility policy, people’s fer-tility demand is increasing, and the topic of vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy has aroused widespread concern. Due to the increased demand for vitamin D in pregnancy, vitamin D deficiency is closely related to pregnancy diseases such as spontaneous abortion, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, postpartum depression and preterm delivery. The purpose of this article is to review the research progress on the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and pregnancy diseases, in order to provide some basis for clinical intervention of vitamin D deficiency in pregnant women.
