奥斯卡？王尔德(Oscar Wilde)，是19世纪英国最伟大的作家与艺术家之一，也是唯美主义代表人物。王尔德在戏剧、童话和小说方面的影响经久不衰，其中作为唯一一篇长篇小说的《道林？格雷的画像》更是影响深远。小说讲述了一位天真无邪、相貌完美的贵族青年道林？格雷为永葆青春出卖灵魂，并且一步步堕落，最终走向毁灭的故事。道林？格雷在这个过程中经受着道德和欲望的折磨，内心的矛盾和挣扎。因此，本文从文学伦理学批评的角度来探究小说中道林？格雷的堕落，分析道林？格雷所处的伦理环境、伦理混乱以及做出的伦理选择，探讨他如何醒悟，得到自我解脱。
Oscar Wilde is one of the greatest British writers and artists of the 19th century and a representative of aestheticism. He has an enduring influence on drama, fairy tales and novels. Particularly The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde’s only long novel, has a profound impact. The novel tells the story of an innocent and perfect looking young aristocrat, Dorian Gray, who sells his soul for eternal youth. Then he degenerates step by step and finally destroys himself. Dorian Gray suffers from the torment of morality and desire, inner conflict and struggle in this process. Therefore, this paper is an attempt to analyze the process of Dorian Gray’s degeneration from the perspective of Ethical Literary Criticism, analyzing ethical environment, ethical confusion and ethical choice, and revealing how he awakens and gets relief.
