《梦溪笔谈》中科技条目的英俄翻译对比研究

Abstract:
本文以《梦溪笔谈》的英文译本和俄文译本为语料，基于层次分析法，即按词汇、句子和语篇三个层面，对两译本科技条目内容的翻译进行对比研究。研究发现：《梦溪笔谈》两译本在语篇层面都能较完整地传递原文信息，将科技条目中的科技史实表达出来。但两译本在处理部分科技词汇和句子时，选取的翻译方法存在一定差异。综上，希望通过对《梦溪笔谈》英俄两译本的分析，为其后续翻译和其他典籍的外译提供借鉴。
This paper takes the English translation and the Russian translation of Brush Talks from Dream Brook as the corpus, and conducts a comparative study of the translation of the content of scientific and technical articles in the two translations based on the hierarchical analysis method, i.e., at three levels: word, sentence and discourse. It is found that both translations of Brush Talks from Dream Brook can convey the information of the original text and express the historical facts of science and technology in the scientific and technological articles in a more complete way at the discourse level. However, there are some differences in the translation methods chosen by the two translations when dealing with some scientific and technological words and sentences. In conclusion, it is hoped that the analysis of the English and Russian translations of Brush Talks from Dream Brook will provide a reference for its subsequent translation and the foreign translation of other canonical texts.
