Abstract:

Collagen triple overlapping helix protein (CTHRC1) is a stable secretory glycoprotein. It plays many biological functions, including invasive vascular repair, bone remodeling, adipose tissue formation and more. It has been confirmed as one of the genes related to the dynamic evolution of tumor. It has been showed that CTHRC1 has abnormal expression in most solid tumors and mediates tumor invasion and metastasis through different molecular mechanisms and signal pathways. This article reviews the research on the invasion and metastasis of CTHRC1 in gastrointestinal tumors in order to provide evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases.
