Abstract:

在文化全球化以及网络广泛普及的背景下,中国不断引入优秀的英文影视作品。英文影视常配有双语或国语字幕,以达到文化传播、文明交流的目的。然而,我国没有专业的字幕翻译管理机构,也没有业界统一的翻译标准,因此字幕翻译的质量参差不齐。本文以德国功能主义学派的翻译目的论为理论基础,以情景喜剧《欢乐一家亲》的字幕翻译为例,分析该影视字幕翻译中出现的符合目的论三原则的中译文本,以及译者使用的直译、意译等翻译策略,对于情景喜剧字幕翻译行业的健康发展具有一定的现实意义。
In the context of cultural globalization and the widespread use of the Internet, China has been in-troducing excellent English films and television shows constantly. English films and shows are often with bilingual or Chinese subtitles to achieve the purpose of cultural communication and civilizational exchange. However, there is no professional management institute for subtitle translation in China, nor is there a unified translation standard for the industry, so the quality of subtitle translation varies. Based on the German functionalist school’s skopos theory this paper takes the subtitle translation of the sitcom Frasier as an example, and analyses the Chinese translated texts that conform to the three principles of skopos theory, as well as the translation strategies used by the translators, such as literal translation and free translation, which have certain practical significance for the healthy development of the sitcom subtitle translation industry.
