贝尔曼批评理论视角下张培基《故都的秋》译文分析
An Analysis of Zhang Peiji’s Translation of Autumn in Peiping from the Perspective of Behrman’s Critical Theory

贝尔曼的翻译批评思想集中体现在《翻译批评探索：约翰？多恩》，在此书中他提出了一套翻译批评理论体系，从发表的文章数量来看，他的翻译批评理论至今也是翻译领域的重要研究内容。贝尔曼提出的翻译批评路径、伦理标准和诗学标准操作性极强，丰富了翻译理论。在本文研究中，借助贝尔曼的翻译批评路径来对张培基的英译散文《故都的秋》进行分析，发现译者独特的翻译技巧完美地再现了原文风格、内容和神韵，极大程度上忠实于原文内容；也符合其所倡导的“忠实、通顺”的翻译理念。
Behrman’s thoughts on translation criticism are embodied in the Exploration of Translation Criti-cism: John Donne, in which he proposed a theoretical system of translation criticism. From the number of published articles, his translation criticism theory is still an important research con-tent in the field of translation. Behrman’s approach to translation criticism, ethical standards and poetic standards are highly operable and enrich translation theory. In this study, the author analyzes Zhang Peiji’s English translation of Autumn in Peiping in virtue of Behrman’s translation criticism approach, and finds that the translator’s unique translation skills perfectly reproduce the style, content and charm of the original text, and remain faithful to the original content to a great extent. It also conforms to the translation concept of “faithfulness and smoothness” advocated by him.
