Abstract:

庚款留美学生代表了我国近代留学生的较高水平。本文首先对庚款留美学生的籍贯、性别、年龄、家庭情况、教育背景等自然状况进行分析，然后从留学院校、修习专业、所获学位三个方面考察了庚款留美学生留学期间的学习状况，最后梳理了庚款留美学生归国后的服务领域及作出的贡献。
The overseas students of Boxer Indemnity in America represent the high level of overseas students in modern China. This paper first analyzes the natural conditions of the overseas students of Boxer Indemnity in America, such as their native place, gender, age, family situation and educational background, then investigates the learning status of the overseas students of Boxer Indemnity in America during their study abroad from three aspects: overseas institutions, majors and degrees, and finally combs the service fields and contributions of the overseas students of Boxer Indemnity in America after their return.
