An Analysis of Conversational Implicature in Sitcoms from the Perspective of Cooperative Principle—Taking the First Episode of the First Season of the American Sitcom The Big Bang Theory as an Example

基于格莱斯的会话合作原则，本文以美国电视连续剧《生活大爆炸》第一季第一集的台词为研究对象，分析情景喜剧中角色的台词语言案例，说明人物语言违反合作原则的具体情况，探索人物话语的言外之意，以及会话含义对人物性格塑造和幽默效果表达的语用效果。
Based on Grice’s Cooperative Principle, this paper takes the lines of the first episode of the first season of the sitcom The Big Bang Theory as the research object, analyzes the cases of characters’ lines in sitcoms, explains the specific situations in which characters’ words violate the principle of cooperation, and explores the implication of characters’ words and the pragmatic effect of conversational implicature on character-building and humorous expression.
