石马迳矿田地处雩山隆起带的北段,区内以NEE (近EW)向、NNE向、NE向和NNW向四组断裂构造为主。NEE向断裂构造(F1)是勘查区内的主干断裂,是本区的主要控热和导热构造。矿田可开采资源量超2500立方米/天,水温38.5℃~47.5℃,水质类型均为HCO3-Na型,氟(F?)、偏硅酸(H2SiO3)的含量达到理疗矿水命名浓度,为氟水、硅水。
