|
Abstract:
Sense of Agency is a control experience that changes the outside world through self-initiated or self-caused outcomes. Some studies have found a confounding relationship between explicit and implicit motion results, while other studies point out the separation of them, and the discovery of this contradiction may prove that explicit and implicit sense of agency relies on different sources of information to reflect different cognitive processes. In this work, we argue that the association and dissociation of explicit and implicit sense of agency can be explained by the cue integration theory. Future research may further investigate the role of various cues, such as adopting findings from other research areas, or using new technical tools, focusing on the sense of agency in joint actions; and also may explore the social application of the sense of agency, such as examining the relationship between motion and social responsibility, and paying attention to synthetic motion in human-computer interaction.
