Abstract:

近年来,随着大众对电子竞技态度的改观,有越来越多的国外电子游戏涌入中国市场,而电子游戏进入中国市场的第一步就是本地化改造,游戏本地化应运而生。本文以网络游戏《英雄联盟》为例,从目的论的视角分析《英雄联盟》中部分角色的角色名,皮肤名及游戏台词的本地化翻译策略,探讨目的论在网络游戏本地化中的应用。
In recent years, with the improvement of the public’s attitude towards e-sports, more and more foreign electronic games flood into the Chinese market. The first step for electronic games to enter the Chinese market is localization transformation, and game localization comes into existence. Taking the League of Legends as an example, this paper analyzes the localized translation strategies of some characters’ names, skin names and lines in League of Legends from the perspective of Skopos theory, and discusses the application of Skopos theory in the localization of online games.
