中医药外宣影视作品字幕英译分析与探究——以《本草中国》第二季为例
Analysis and Exploration of Subtitle English Translation of Film and Television Works for the International Communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine —Taking Materia Medica China (II) as an Example

近几年，对外传播中医药的优秀影视作品日益增多，但是其中一些影视作品的字幕英译文质量还有待提升。本文以大型纪录片《本草中国》第二季为例，对其部分英文翻译字幕中存在的不足之处进行分析，提出相应的改进建议，并在此基础上概况总结中医药外宣影视作品字幕英译的基本策略与原则，以期助力中医药的海外传播。
In recent years, there has been an increasing number of excellent film and television works for the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine, but the quality of subtitle English translations of some of them remains to be improved. Taking the large-scale documentary Materia Medica China (II) as an example, this paper analyzes the shortcomings in some of its subtitle English translations, and puts forward corresponding suggestions for improvement. On the basis of this, the paper also summarizes the basic strategies and principles about the subtitle English translation of film and television works for the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine, in order to facilitate the overseas dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine.
