Professor Huang Zongxu’s Experience in Treating Timed Headache by Acupuncture with Ziwu Liuzhu Method

头痛是以患者自觉头部疼痛为主症的一种病证。本病证的病位在脑，涉及肝、脾、肾。头痛的发生是由于外感六淫、内伤劳损或跌打损伤而导致头部经络拘急或失于濡养，清窍不利，因而头部疼痛。本病证治疗的重点在于分证论治。“虚则补其母，实则泻其子”，对于定时发作的头痛治疗，黄宗勖教授临床多常用子午流注法，依十二地支时辰定时针刺治疗，以此来行气活血、通经活络而止痛。现介绍其治疗定时头痛经验医案一则如下。
Headache is a symptom of conscious head pain. The disease is located in the brain, involving the liver, spleen, and kidneys. The occurrence of headache is due to external feelings, internal injuries, strains, or bruises, which lead to anxious head meridian or loss of care, unfavorable clearing of the orifice, and head pain. The focus of the treatment of this disease is based on the treatment of different syndromes. “Deficiency replenishes his mother, but in reality he reduces his son.” For the treatment of headaches that occur regularly, Professor Huang Zongxu used meridian flow injection method in clinical practice, and acupuncture treatment was carried out according to the twelve earthly branches, so as to promote qi and blood circulation, channel channels and collaterals, and relieve pain.
