建设园区是贯彻“十八大”精神，落实省委省政府关于加快推进现代农业发展部署的重要举措，也是三明生态新城建设思路的深化与实施。园区以高优农作物种苗产业为主导，以“科技兴园、产业强园、生态立园”为理念，以“科研院所、农业企业、农民专业合作组织、家庭农场”为经营主体。引进现代设施农业技术、集聚农业种苗产业、展示农业高新技术成果，形成技、贸、工、农一体化的经营模式，为三明乃至我省现代农业发展建立范式。
The construction of the park is an important measure to implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the provincial government to accelerate the development and deployment of modern agriculture.
