试论《水浒传》赛珍珠译本的翻译方法及其翻译问题
The Translation Methods and Translation Problems of Pearl Buck’s All Men Are Brothers

翻译是传播文化的重要桥梁之一。作为中国古代四大名著之一，《水浒传》的英译版本层出不穷。本文选取赛珍珠英译本进行分析研究，探讨赛珍珠译本翻译方法及其翻译问题。研究发现，赛译本以异化翻译方法为主，归化翻译方法为辅，在一定程度上传播了中国文化，塑造了中国形象，但其译本也存在数字翻译不准、文化专有项翻译失误、句式结构不地道等问题，译者需要辩证看待其英译本，取其精华、去其糟粕，进一步推动中国文化走出去。
Translation serves as an important bridge for cultural exchanges. As one of the four great classical novels of ancient China, All Men Are Brothers has been translated into English one after another. This paper selects the English version of Pearl Buck to analyze and study the translation methods and translation problems. It was found that her translation is mainly foreignization-oriented, accompanied by domestication. Her translation, to some extent, has spread China’s culture and shaped China’s image in the rest of the world. However, there is still room for her translation to be improved. Translators need to treat her English translation dialectically, taking the essence and removing the dross, to further help China's culture go global.
