《语言中的论据和证据：一种合理论证模式》(Data and Evidence in Linguistics: A Plausible Argumentation Model)一书论述了与论据和证据相关的方法论问题，提出了一个新的合理论证模式——P模式。该模式的提出不仅是对元语言理论研究的继承，而且为论据的多样性和不确定、证据在评估假设中的作用、观点“不一致”的出现和解决等提供了新的视角和路径。
Data and Evidence in Linguistics: A Plausible Argumentation Model discusses methodological issues related to argumentation and evidence, and presents a new plausible model of argumentation—the p-model. The proposed model is not only an inheritance of the meta-linguistic theories, but also provides a new perspective and path in terms of the diversity and uncertainty of evidence, the role of evidence in evaluating hypotheses, and the emergence of and solution to the “inconsistencies” of viewpoints.
