Climate
change is one of the biggest threats and challenges that humankind has ever faced.
Therefore, humankind has to convey the earth’s climate to future generations at
its best by all means necessary. In doing so, the law is the instrument that
can create, maintain and develop an adequate mitigation and adaptation
framework for climate change. It is important to note that the earth’s climate
is a common responsibility in the international community and each country has
its own obligation concerning climate change. In this sense, authors discuss
the international legal framework for climate change influencing legal
framework and gaps in the Kyrgyz Republic at the institutional level.
