文学文体学是一门连接语言学和文学批评的学科，运用文学文体学的分析方法可以帮助译者对文学作品中语言形式的美学功能更加敏感，并将其体现在译文中，从而更好地指导翻译实践。以文学文体学为理论，以葛浩文翻译的《丰乳肥臀》英译本为研究对象，从词汇和句法两个层面进行文体分析，试探讨译者对原作主题意义和美学效果的传达与再现，进一步说明文学文体学对文学翻译具有指导作用。
Literary stylistics is a discipline that mediates between linguistics and literary criticism. The ana-lytical methods in literary stylistics can help translators become more sensitive to the aesthetic functions of the form of language in literary works and express them in translated texts, which could better guide their translation practice. The paper carries out a study of Big Breasts & Wide Hips translated by Howard Goldblatt from the perspective of literary stylistics. The stylistic analysis is conducted from the aspects of lexis and syntax. It attempts to explore whether the linguistic forms that present the thematic meanings and enforce the aesthetic effect have been reproduced in the translated text, and further proves that literary stylistics plays an important role in its guidance on literary translation.
