《木兰诗》是现实主义和浪漫主义相结合的诗篇，也是北朝民歌中最杰出的代表，全诗语言生动活泼，修辞手法丰富，充满了浪漫主义色彩，具有较高的艺术成就。千百年来，《木兰诗》深受国内外学者的喜爱，被广泛译介。本文选取了国内外四个经典英译本，通过从“意义的传达”和“语言风格的传达”两个方面进行对比，重点分析译本是否忠实贴切地传达了原文的意义和思想，以及译文的语言风格是否忠实于原文，旨在赏析四个译本的长处与不足，希望能为后世译者在诗歌翻译中提供借鉴，进而促进中国诗歌翻译的发展与传播。
“Mulan Poem” is a poem that combines realism and romanticism. It is also the most outstanding representative of folk songs in the Northern Dynasties. The language of the poem is vivid and lively, using a variety of rhetoric techniques, full of romanticism, and has high artistic achievements. Over the past century, “Mulan Poem” has been loved by scholars at home and abroad and has been widely translated and introduced. Based on the previous four classic English translations, this article mainly focuses on whether the translations faithfully and appropriately convey the meaning and thoughts of the original writing as well as whether the style of the translation is faithful to the original in line with “transmission of meaning” and “transmission of language style” of the translation. The author aims to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the four versions, with the hope of providing reference for future translators in poetry translation as well as promoting the development and progress of Chinese poetry translation.
