Legal and Administrative Perspectives in Turkey Assessment Of Independence Of Regulatory and Supervisory Agencies

The most important feature of regulatory and supervisory agencies that undertake regulatory functions in the areas of sensitive and technical dimensions is to be independent. Independence means for these agencies making regulation and supervision without being under the pressure of any authority or group. In Turkey independence of these agencies which has begun to settle since 2000s and have different characteristics from other public institutions has not been fully achieved. There are many factors that affect the independence of these agencies which must be independent and out of political organs. In study, these factors were examined from legal and administrative perspectives and tried to be presented solution proposals for the independence
