A SOCIAL WELFARE STATE FROM A LIBERAL PERSPECTIVE

The welfare state has been subject to constant debate within the development process. Different interpretations and criticisms from all fields of the ideological spectrum have been directed. In the article, the social welfare state will be dealt with from a liberal perspective. For this, firstly the definition and characteristics of the welfare state were mentioned and then the development process was mentioned. Undoubtedly it would be pointless to interpret the process without knowing its development. In the main discussion, the points of view are examined depending on the different points in the liberal perspective. Accordingly, the criticisms of the social welfare state are mentioned and these are detailed according to the different positions of the liberalization line. A solution from a liberal perspective has been presented and examined
