KNOWLEDGE LEVELS OF 8TH GRADE STUDENTS ABOUT THE GALL？POL？ FRONT

The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge levels of the 8th grade students about the Gallipoli front. It was carried out in a qualitative model there search case study model. 39 eighth grade students from a secondary school in the province of Erzurum participated in this search. The data of the study were collected by semi-structured interview form. the analysis of the data was done by means of descriptive analysis. How often each finding was repeated (frequency) wasfound. Thus, the qualitative data is converted into quantitative. The survey found that most of the students had different views on them portance of the Gallipoli front, where the majority knew about the history of the dardanelles gallipoli and on which battle group, and most of the information about the Gallipoli front was reached as the result of learning from textbooks, lessons and films
