Celal Nuri ？leri's View of Westernisation

The Westernization movement, which began to be seen in the 18th century, also influenced the Ottoman Empire and this movement took the second place. During this period, it was seen that the problems experienced by many Ottoman intellectuals were determined and expressed in a number of ideas. Ottomanism, Islamism, Turkism and Westernism around the intellectual movements gathered around the intellectuals, in different ways, even though the Ottoman Empire, and the situation in order to prevent the bad direction of the idea of correcting.
