It is possible to define anarchism as authority-power opposition in its most general definition. This anti-authoritarianism brings together anarchism and postmodern thought on the same ground. The criticism of power by postmodern thought draws attention to the cognitive, social, cultural, linguistic dimension, not only to the political dimension of power, as in anarchism.
