COMPARION OF EFFECTIVENESS OF DEPOSITS BANK OF TURKEY WITH DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS

Effective banking industry operations which have an important place in the financial system, is very important for the development of the country's economy. Although the economic crisis in 2000 had affected the Turkish banking sector, , it has a strong structure today, thanks to regulatory measures from the Turkish government. This study deals with the effectiveness of the Turkish banking sector. We compared and analyzed the data for the period 2012-2016. In the study the effectiveness of a total of 23 deposit banks were measured by the input-oriented Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method under the fixed return (CCR) and variable return on scale (BCC) assumptions.
