Dens invaginatus and dens evaginatus in a single tooth: Report of two cases

Dens invaginatus and dens evaginatus are developmental dental anomalies. The presence of double dens invaginatus and dens evaginatus in the same tooth is extremely rare. This article presents two cases of double dens invaginatus and dens evaginatus in permanent maxillary lateral incisors. Detailed clinical and radiographic examinations are beneficial to determining such abnormality. Clinicians should be aware about radiographic and clinical findings and thus may prevent possible complications of these conditions
