DESCRIPTIVE ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF SPECIAL EDUCATION IN TURKEY

The purpose of the research study conducted in Turkey between the years 1998-2018 related to mathematics teaching in special education, is to make the content and methodical analysis. For this purpose, the method of document examination has been used in the research. In the current research, Google Scholar, Y？K National Thesis Center website and Abant ？zzet Baysal University Library subscribed data bases have been utilized for accessing the documents. Key words such as “mathematics”, “teaching mathematics”, “additive process”, “subraction process”, “multiplication process”, “division process”, “problem solving” were written in these databases. As a result of the review, 46 studies were included in the study. The studies taken within the scope of the research were analyzed by descriptive analysis. Analyzed data are interpreted by tabulating and graphing the frequencies of the data corresponding to each research question
