THE EVALUATION OF FAMILY MEDICINE MODEL IN TURKISH HEALTH SYSTEM FOR POLICY TRANSFER PROCESS

The policy transfer process has an important place in the countries where reforms in the health system are discussed. The aim of this study is to present a comparative analysis of the current system in Turkey with the leading countries in this model by examining the family medicine model in Turkish health system in line with policy transfer process. The focus of the study is to evaluate the family medicine model in terms of the transformation process in the Turkish healthcare system and the policy transfer process. The study was designed in a theoretical framework and literature review was conducted in general. In addition, the relationship between policy transfer and the family medicine model is discussed in a comparative context. It has been found that the process of policy transfer in the study has an important role in the formation of health policies, in this process from a full voluntary policy transfer to a direct compulsory policy transfer can be established and the family medicine in the Turkish health system is transferred as a model and application example
