THE EVALUATION OF ECONOMIC, POLITICS AND LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR TURKISH INSURANCE SECTOR

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the general situation of the sector by evaluating the insurance premium, intermediaries, mergers and bankruptcies that occurred in the insurance sector (life branch and non-life branch), insurance companies and bankruptcies since 2013 within the framework of legislation, economic and political events. Developments in the insurance sector, insurance premiums, problems in agencies and brokers, innovations introduced by legislative changes, economic and political developments are examined. The extent to which the fluctuations in the premiums in the study affected the relations between the intermediaries and the insurance companies, the developments in the economy, the problems experienced by the sector, the legal changes, the effects of the intermediaries and the companies, and the problems that are emerged. In the insurance sector, the solution suggestions are presented by taking into consideration the necessity of what actors should do
