EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITY PROPOSAL FOR MEASURING LIGHT POLLUTION FOR SCHOOLS

The main purpose of this study is to provide the basic knowledge to the students and teachers who are interested in light pollution. While providing this gain, we aim to teach the using of the SQM device with an experimental activity that we developed. Thanks to this activity, the students will be able to develop their practice of using the SQM devices during the daylight hours, and their learning the Bortle scale at the same time. Thus, light pollution project works will also accelerate in the schools
