Nature Parks; is the planning, regulations and implementations for “Active Use Areas” which is created outside the absolute protection areas for public purposes by using completely natural material and environment compatible architecture without interfering with the ecological cycle of nature. The Principles of Nature Parks Design have been prepared by using the resources obtained for the Natural Park Project of Elmal？ Dam in Istanbul. This article is intended to be a guide for the “National Gardens” (Millet Bah？eleri), which has been started to be established in many cities nowadays
