AZERBAIJAN BAKU STATE UNIVERSITY MUSEUMS COLLECTION

The university was founded in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, in 1919. The University started its 1st edu- cational year with two faculties – faculty of philology and medical faculty and with 1094 students. Although the foundations of Baku State University Museums were in earlier times, restructuring and reorganizing activities lead an increase in the significance of university museums after 1990s. Museums were established within the scope of the university as scientific laboratories to support education. In this study, Heydar Aliyev, University History, Bicycle, Evolution Theory, Azerbaijan Mines, Archeology and Ethnography Museums in Baku State University are examined
