Wind erosion studies in Igd？r-Aral？k

I？d？r-Aral？k wind erosion area shows features of semi-arid climate and on the other hand, it is a microclimate area due to climate differences from its surroundings. The vegetation period is long. It has low slope and is suitable for cultivation. However, it is the second largest wind erosion area of Turkey and there is no agricultural services. When effective wind erosion in this field causes seriously damages on the environment and health, protection measures have been on the agenda and in a section part, which is even less devoted works have been done. On the other hand, the land has attracted researchers’ attention for many years and various studies have been carried out on soil properties and wind erosion potential. However, direct wind erosion measurements have not been carried out yet. In this study, wind erosion area of Igd？r-Aral？k, and the research and protection works carried out in the field, second wind erosion area was introduced and new projects were introduced
