Today, people are working hard in industry, service and agriculture. This brings with it a number of health problems. It leads people to health tourism because of their health problems while pushing them to rest more and to have fun. In other words, it has revealed the interest in health tourism. According to the report of the world tourism organization, one billion and three hundred million people traveled for tourism in 2017. When we examined the 2010-2016 data of our country, an average of thirty million tourists arrived. In addition, the proportion of those coming from health tourism was 0.46% in the same years, while the proportion of those who went to health tourism was 1.2%. Whereas in the field of thermal tourism there are around 1,500 thermal sources in our country, only 10% of them can be evaluated. In the future it is foreseen that the number of people to be involved in tourism activities will double in terms of travel reasons included in health tourism. In our country, which has a good potential in this area, the investments to be made in health tourism can be much better evaluated with the trained human resources and sufficient promotions
