With the proclamation of the Republic, Community Center, well-known in Turkish “Halkevleri”, has been opened in many parts of Anatolia and this institution has undertaken the missions such as adopting the idea of republic in Anatolia, increasing the cultural level, reporting the news in many parts of Anatolia to the public and making academic publications. These institutions, which were opened by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's, founder of the Turkey, request, have taken out their own publication and adopted the principle of addressing more people. One of these institutions is the Halk Bilgisi Haberleri magazine published by the Istanbul Eminonu Community Center. Between 1929 and 1942, the magazine published a hundred and twenty-four issues. In this study, systematic index study was performed by giving the imprint of the articles in the Halk Bilgisi Haberleri magazine, which is included in the collection of the Istanbul Beyaz？t State Library Hakk？ Tar？k Us. The study was studied with four main headings and headings related to Folk Literature, Social Life, Practical and Various Applications, Researches and Studies on Folklore and Non-Folklore Topics.
